An 8,600-square-foot livestock feed processing facility designed on a 4.5-acre site in Buckeye, Arizona. Threaded Studios served as architect and designer, navigating several complex site and regulatory challenges, including rezoning the property from agricultural to industrial use and developing an elevated building plinth to address FEMA floodplain requirements. The facility was designed to process unwanted liquid food products from manufacturers into livestock feed supplements while meeting applicable feedstock food safety requirements. The project was fully designed and taken through entitlement but was ultimately not constructed after the owner chose to pursue alternative sites that better suited their needs.
